Russell J. Marchese, M.D. is a Comprehensive Ophthalmologist & Cataract Surgeon with Coastal Jersey Eye Center. Dr. Marchese graduated Magna Cum Laude with his undergraduate degree in psychology from Georgetown University. He earned his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine. Dr. Marchese then continued his training completing an Ophthalmology residency program at the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY.

Dr. Marchese is currently seeing patients for both routine and complex eye care. This includes evaluation and treatment for cataracts, cataract surgery & lens implants (IOL) for astigmatism and near vision, glaucoma & retinal disease, such as retinal detachment, diabetic retinopathy & macular degeneration (AMD) & help for dry eyes. In addition, he provides routine annual eye exams for eyeglasses and contact lenses.
